A nonviolent initiative by Eumans and No Peace Without Justice
The relay fast is a nonviolent initiative launched by Eumans and No Peace Without Justice to ask the European Commission, and in particular President Ursula von der Leyen, to activate the "Blocking Statute". This instrument would neutralize the sanctions imposed by the United States on the International Criminal Court, which are making it nearly impossible for the most important international institution against war crimes and human rights violations to do its work.
The spirit of the relay fast is to spark curiosity and interest, shedding light on the attack against the International Criminal Court. It is not an invitation to sacrifice: we recommend drinking liquids and, if necessary, at least three juices or cappuccinos instead of meals.
